📋 Description

• Design future-state technical systems by aligning product goals with existing systems and making short- and long-term technical and product tradeoffs • Lead engineers inside and outside the immediate team in building technical solutions • Participate in developing product and UX requirements with designers, product managers, and stakeholders • Nurture technical quality from design through code review and production operations • Mentor engineers in technical and collaboration skills • Identify and propose solutions to obstacles affecting technical and product engineering excellence • Collaborate with internal teams across the technology community, Hosting, Guest, Mobile, and data engineering • Prototype, evaluate, and implement solutions for an AI-driven growth platform • Build an AI-driven growth platform that supports supply expansion, sales insights, host success, and lead funnels for attracting high-quality hosts

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant software development industry experience in a fast-paced tech environment • Strong proficiency in at least one major backend programming language, such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Python • Experience with modern frontend frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end products from ideation and planning to implementation and launch • Experience with architectural patterns of large-scale web applications, including well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, and efficient algorithms • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and articulate technical trade-offs • Strong understanding of how deep backend systems are expressed in the UX shown to customers • Passion for creating intuitive user experiences and interest in data systems and analytics • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team and across the engineering organization • Passion for building AI-driven applications • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, business, product, design, Hosting, Guest, Mobile, and data engineering teams
