📋 Description

• Generate profitable sales of frozen food commodities including poultry, pork, beef, seafood, fruit, and vegetables • Service customers in Mexico • Maintain current and develop new customer accounts mainly via phone and email • Travel to destination countries 15% of the time or less to visit customers or attend tradeshows • Build relationships with purchasing, credit, operations, and other internal departments, as well as external vendors and partners • Meet or exceed sales metrics and goals • Maintain gross profit and tonnage for an assigned account base while managing inventory • Assist the operations team with transportation movement information to meet shipment schedules and avoid unnecessary costs • Help grow market share and diversify products and origins sold into the market

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel • 4+ years of Protein or Fruit/Vegetable Related Food Sales (Retail) - Chicken, Fish, Beef, Pork, etc. • Able to set sales goals and achieve them • Able to exercise strong judgment in analyzing, appraising, evaluating, and solving complex problems • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent communicator and team player • Self-starter and quick learner • Adaptable and creative • Persistent and tenacious • Entrepreneurial mind-set • Driven, determined, self-motivated and an independent thinker • Passionate about international sales and building your business • Eager to learn and grow
