📋 Description

• Lead engineering for Alan's Work Environment area and internal platform • Build and maintain Alan Home, the internal operating system and access source of truth • Develop automation, Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and user lifecycle automation across 25+ systems • Evaluate vendor replacements and build Alan-native internal software with written business cases and ROI analysis • Hire and shape the growing engineering team • Own talent density, onboarding, feedback, and team skill composition • Set technical direction, make architecture decisions, and establish quality and security standards • Lead incident response and operational excellence for critical internal systems • Remain hands-on through code reviews and coding • Partner with product functions to shape roadmaps and delivery commitments • Develop engineers, mentor future leaders, and influence engineering culture

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years leading engineering teams • Track record of building high performers • Ability to partner with product functions, shape roadmaps, identify trade-offs, and commit to deliverables • Experience establishing engineering excellence standards • Ability to guide architectural decisions • Experience with modern development practices and AI-assisted development tools • Recent hands-on engineering experience, including code review and code writing • Curious, self-starting, humble, collaborative, and eager to grow • People-development mindset • Fluent in English • French is a plus but not required • Excitement for healthcare technology and innovation • Understanding of psychological safety and continuous learning • Legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain
