📋 Description

• Design and develop features for the AlertMedia product suite • Learn the AlertMedia platform and tools, and its uses for customers • Work with Python, Elixir, JavaScript, Next.js, React and other web technologies • Use AI-enabled tools such as Claude, Codex, and other emerging platforms to support development, problem-solving, documentation, and productivity • Work in an Agile-based environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack • Identify opportunities to improve products, architecture, and engineering practices • Collaborate with engineering and product teams using strong verbal and written communication • Contribute to AlertMedia’s culture, values, and vision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred • 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable production applications, preferably using Python, Django, Elixir, or JavaScript • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and writing unit and integration tests • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes • Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining applications in AWS or similar cloud environments • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar database and caching technologies • Experience making architectural decisions, evaluating technical tradeoffs, and owning engineering initiatives from design through implementation • Active user of AI tools and modern developer platforms to enhance engineering quality, velocity, and collaboration • Collaborative mindset to partner with principal engineers and leadership to drive architectural evolution for a critical application • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage working on multiple projects in parallel • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment • Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced challenging environment • Strong English proficiency (written and oral) is required • Must have the legal right to work in Mexico without sponsorship now or in the future
