📋 Description

• Produce effective advertising videos designed to generate return on ad spend • Edit video, animation, and sound for advertising campaigns • Read scripts and interpret storyboards • Create motion graphics and fresh video elements • Create digital static and video assets, display advertising, social deliverables, and other marketing assets • Develop easy-to-follow storyboards for video projects • Create eye-catching video content promoting AlgaeCal’s brand • Source and enhance voice-over files and select suitable musical backgrounds • Use AI tools to improve work quality and efficiency • Interpret marketing reports to identify effective content and areas for improvement • Collaborate closely with graphic designers, writers, and project stakeholders • Create content for digital marketing channels including YouTube and Facebook

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a video editor • Proven ability to create digital static and video assets, display advertising, social deliverables, and other marketing assets • Portfolio demonstrating mastery of Premiere Pro and After Effects • Proven track record of creating fresh and exciting video elements • Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve would be a plus • Ability to create easy-to-follow storyboards for video projects • Ability to create eye-catching video content promoting the brand • Ability to source and enhance voice-over files • Working knowledge of AI tools • Ability to interpret marketing reports and use insights to improve content • Ability to collaborate with graphic designers, writers, and project stakeholders • Encyclopedic knowledge of best practices for YouTube and Facebook • Experience working in a digital marketing environment • Experience in the health and wellness sector is advantageous but not required • Humble, team-oriented approach • Hungry to learn • Strong people skills and ability to be a great teammate • Resume and cover letter required • Cover letter must address role fit, quantifiable achievements, company values, a difficult personal challenge, last three books read, and hobbies • Explanation of current employment status and reasons for seeking a new role • Cover letter and resume must be submitted as one file • Portfolio and minimum of three edited video examples required • Personal website or portfolio URL required
