📋 Description

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process • Deliver accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements in compliance with US GAAP • Research and resolve complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and multi-entity consolidation • Supervise and mentor accounting staff • Delegate work and review reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll • Establish, monitor, and improve internal controls • Act as primary contact for external US audits • Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections • Analyze variances to support executive decision-making • Optimize the accounting technology stack, including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Bill.com, to improve efficiency and automation • Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local tax requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with strong knowledge of US GAAP required • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • At least 2–3 years in a senior or controller-level role • Preferably experience in a US-based company or BPO setting • High proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, and advanced Microsoft Excel, including modeling, lookups, and pivot tables • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal • Willingness to work US business hours, night shift in the Philippines • Must have own equipment • Must use Monitask time tracker • Ability to work 40 hours per week, weekends off
