📋 Description

• Verify whether vehicle variants in customer contract projects comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards and guidelines in the field of product safety • Prepare evidence/documentation demonstrating compliance with product safety obligations • Analyze and assess safety-relevant requirements and activities starting from the proposal phase • Identify applicable laws, standards, regulations and guidelines • Advise projects and define safety objectives • Prepare safety compliance documentation for projects • Coordinate safety-related verification and validation (V&V) activities • Conduct system safety-related reviews, audits and assessments internally and externally • Monitor implementation of and compliance with safety-related requirements • Further develop internal company safety-related processes, templates and checklists • Finally evaluate compliance with product safety obligations and report to the product safety officer

🎯 Requirements

• Completed technical degree (university/technical college) or equivalent vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Automotive Engineering • Solid professional experience in System Safety, preferably in the automotive sector • Sound knowledge of safety standards, e.g. IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 • Methodological expertise in hazard and risk analyses, FMEA and FTA • Strong understanding of requirements management • Experience with IBM DOORS and APIS Pro • Good understanding of product development processes • Systematic knowledge of project planning and project management
