📋 Description

• Engineer, design, develop, establish timing for, and production-release restraints components and systems, including side airbags, curtain airbags, and seatbelt systems • Perform component- and system-level design, development, validation, timing, and production release • Review, validate, and release automotive component designs • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on interior-system design and development • Contribute to continuous improvement of design and release processes • Manage documentation and production-release activities • Collaborate with suppliers, validation, manufacturing, and purchasing teams

🎯 Requirements

• 0 to 1 year of experience related to reviewing, validating, and releasing designs for automotive components • CATIA V5/3DX or NX for 3D/2D model review • PLM (Teamcenter) for documentation and release management • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles • Knowledge of manufacturing processes • Knowledge of PBOM, eBOM, DVP&R, and technical sheets management • Intermediate-advanced English (technical comprehension and international team communication) • Experience with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs (preferred) • Knowledge of style freeze processes and theme evaluation (preferred) • In-plant experience with tool tryouts, assembly, and program launch (preferred) • Familiarity with automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949 (preferred) • Excellent communication and stakeholder management • Leadership in technical decision-making • Ability to collaborate across suppliers, validation, manufacturing, and purchasing • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail • Valid visa is optional
