📋 Description

• Complete quality control post-loan-closing and pre-funding reviews • Review pre-closing and pre-funding documentation for accuracy before document release • Review post-closing documentation for accuracy after loan closing • Confirm supporting documents are present and correctly executed • Record and report loan exceptions • Review RADD, forensic, QM, non-QM and portfolio loans • Perform credit and income reviews and calculate income • Identify red flags in loan files, including income, assets, credit, fraud and exclusionary-list issues • Review entity documentation to understand business structures and authorized signers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree • 5+ years of experience in retail US residential mortgage banking and QC/post-closing/Prefunding • Expertise in RADD, Forensic review, QM (Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA), non-QM and Portfolio loans review • Credit and Income review, including income calculation for employment income, self-employed income, rental income and other income • Ability to identify red flags in income documents, asset documents, credit reports, fraud reports and exclusionary lists • Ability to review entity documentation to understand business structure and authorized signers • Knowledge of applicable federal regulations and state laws is a plus • Ability to prioritize and decipher policies, programs and guidelines • Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities and prioritize work in a deadline-intensive environment • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and ability to influence through collaboration • Self-motivated, high level of personal energy and commitment • Flexibility to work night shifts
