📋 Description

• Produce quantitative and economic analysis for Executive Committee and Board materials, including scenarios, unit economics, capacity and cost modelling, cost behaviour and baseline scenarios • Consolidate fragmented, inconsistent and incomplete inputs into defensible views and identify uncertainty • Clarify analytical questions to support decisions effectively • Maintain external evidence including comparator institutions, sector benchmarks, published research and precedent • State assumptions, limitations and data gaps explicitly • Design decision-ready presentations, memos, briefs, charts, dashboards, model walkthroughs and verbal briefings • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior and technical audiences • Develop and maintain automated workflows for data extraction, reconciliation, monitoring and reporting • Use and validate AI-enabled tools, agents and scripted workflows for analytical tasks • Build escalation triggers and document tools and workflows • Improve analytical methodologies, templates, reporting processes and tools • Maintain records of decisions, actions, owners, assumptions and review dates • Monitor follow-through and escalate overdue or off-track actions • Maintain the document repository • Coordinate planning, review and reporting calendar requirements • Prepare briefing materials and coordinate cross-functional inputs for engagements

🎯 Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of relevant professional experience producing analysis that informs decisions by more senior people in a research institution, consultancy, financial institution, policy body, university, or comparable analytical function • Economic reasoning evidenced by training or practice; understanding of opportunity cost, marginal effects, incentives and counterfactuals • Degree in economics or experience across consulting, policy research, financial analysis or a quantitative discipline • Ability to turn complex analysis into concise executive communication, including decision briefs, presentations, dashboards or written recommendations • Working competence in Python or R for data analysis • Experience building or supporting an analytical workflow with limited manual intervention • Practical experience using AI-enabled tools, including large language models, agents or scripted workflows • Ability to reconcile incomplete and conflicting inputs from multiple sources into a defensible view • Ability to become productive quickly in unfamiliar subject areas • Experience working across functions with different data sources, priorities and perspectives is strongly preferred • Exposure to executive, Board or committee reporting is desirable
