• Model assembly: Responsible for assembling different vehicle subsystems, from simple systems to complex assemblies such as body-in-white and suspension. • Assess mesh quality and consistency of properties and connections (e.g., rigid elements, bushings and weld points). • Generate acoustic cavity respecting measurement points with specified positions. • Integration of subsystems and model assembly (BIW, TBIW and Full Vehicle). • Structure-fluid coupling. • Integration between body and powertrain. • Analyses: Modal FRFs (Frequency Response Function). • Dynamic stiffness. • Acoustic response (interior noise). • Powertrain noise. • Road noise. • Direct response analysis. • Primary solver: Nastran (SOL101, SOL103, SOL108 and SOL111). • Post-processing: Identify global modes in BIW and TBIW models. • Interpretation of FRFs and transfer functions. • Evaluation of sound pressure levels (Pa, dB and dB(A)). • Analysis of results under different conditions, especially powertrain noise (e.g., WOT and IDLE). • Identification of transfer paths (TPA). • NVH skills: Propose structural improvements to reduce vibration and noise. • CAE-to-test correlation. • Preparation and presentation of reports. • Root-cause investigation of peaks.
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or related). • Minimum of 3 years of CAE experience with focus on vehicle safety (Safety). • Solid knowledge of the Finite Element Method (FEM), material modeling, contacts and nonlinearity. • Experience with pre-processing tools such as ANSA (preferred) or HyperMesh. • Experience with post-processing tools such as META (preferred) or HyperView. • Experience with Safety simulations: Crash, Pedestrian Protection, Occupant Protection, Rollover, Pendulum, etc. • Ability to interpret results (energy, acceleration, strains). • Analytical, organized and problem-solving oriented profile. • Advanced or fluent English. • Nice-to-haves: • Experience with other solvers (e.g., Abaqus, Nastran). • Experience with CAE-to-physical test correlation. • Programming/scripting (Python, TCL). • Familiarity with HPC environments (cluster or cloud). • Spanish.
• Work model (on-site, hybrid or remote) to be agreed.
