📋 Description

• Work on data platform modernization initiatives, focusing on Lakehouse architecture, governance, data quality, and data preparation for analytical and AI consumption.

🎯 Requirements

• Mastery of the data lifecycle: ingestion, processing, storage, transformation, consumption and governance; • Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data; • Best practices for data handling, versioning, lineage and provisioning of data; • Experience with Lakehouse architecture (Data Lake + Data Warehouse); • Use of Apache Iceberg for managing analytical tables, version control, schema evolution, efficient partitioning and performance optimization in distributed environments; • Experience with at least one of the following: Athena, Trino, Presto or Spark SQL; • Ability to optimize queries, interpret execution plans, and work with partitioning and columnar formats (Parquet, ORC); • Cost vs. performance perspective for analytical queries; • Solid experience in modeling for analytics and BI: fact and dimension tables, granularity, keys, hierarchies, metrics and KPIs; • Ability to design models optimized for dashboards, reports and consumption by business teams; • Hands-on experience with: S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, Lake Formation, IAM and CloudWatch; • Knowledge of best practices for security, access control, monitoring, automation and cost management in the cloud.
