📋 Description
• Write functional specifications and design specifications for system software • Implement solutions to small-sized problems in the system software using C, C++, and python • Write test plan specifications and implement automated test programs • Debug problems found by automated test programs • Work with Customer Support Engineers to analyze and provide fixes for customer network problems • Mentor new and junior engineers and review specifications of team members • Create and update implementation schedules
🎯 Requirements
• BSc, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with 2+ years of related post graduate work experience • Knowledge of C, C++, and/or python • Knowledge of UNIX or Linux • Understanding of L2/L3 networking including IP routing protocols, Layer 2 features, and distributed systems functions • Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills • Ability to design and implement solutions to small-sized problems without outside help • Mentoring new and junior engineers
