📋 Description

• Deliver new cutting-edge product features • Write and own the design and implementation of code that drives Arista Networks products • Suggest and decide what features to build • Drive software design and architecture • Push, test, and document features • Work alongside customers in the field when needed • Participate in the complete software development process from requirements gathering through feature delivery • Work with the Platform team on hardware-near development and chip programming • Develop software for forwarding ASICs, FPGAs, and network processors • Implement datapath forwarding features for ACLs, QoS, Unicast, Multicast, EVPN, MPLS, VXLAN, and OAM

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of strong industry experience • Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills • Fluency in C/C++ programming • Hands-on experience with designs and implementations in a strong product-engineering environment • Strong software debugging skills, especially in embedded systems • Experience developing software for forwarding ASICs, FPGAs, and network processors • Experience with hardware abstraction layers • Experience with datapath forwarding for ACLs, QoS, Unicast, Multicast, EVPN, MPLS, VXLAN, and OAM • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment • Experience across the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to feature delivery • Experience in Network Systems Software development is a plus • Strong engineering and Computer Science fundamentals • 5+ years fluency in one of C/C++/Python programming • B2B 12 month rolling contract
