📋 Description

• Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities • Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting schedules • Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports • Analyze financial data and investigate account variances • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records • Support external audits, financial reviews, and client inquiries • Research and apply relevant US GAAP guidance to accounting transactions • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to resolve accounting issues • Assist with process improvement, documentation, and internal control initiatives • Support special accounting projects and ad hoc financial reporting requirements • Support United States-based businesses through bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting expertise

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Accounting experience, preferably with exposure to US GAAP • Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and accounting standards • Experience with account reconciliations and general ledger management • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines • Effective written and verbal English communication skills • Preferred: CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification • Preferred: Public accounting or accounting firm experience • Preferred: Experience supporting U.S.-based clients • Preferred: Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls • Preferred: Experience with ERP and accounting platforms such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems • Preferred: Experience working remotely with international teams
