📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership across EC&I disciplines • Support a diverse portfolio of high-impact programmes • Lead EC&I engineering delivery for complex systems and projects • Act as Lead Engineer on large-scale projects • Ensure compliance with standards such as BS7671, IEC 61508, CDM Regulations & Machinery Directive • Prioritise and enforce Health, Safety & Environmental requirements • Support project cost, schedule, and quality delivery • Chair design reviews and lead technical discussions • Prepare and present technical reports and presentations • Mentor and supervise engineering teams • Act as the technical interface between clients and internal teams • Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering (or HNC/HND with significant experience) • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) • Membership with the IET (or working toward Chartered status) • 10+ years in EC&I engineering within regulated industries • Strong expertise across EC&I disciplines • Experience across full project lifecycle phases • Knowledge of control systems design (V-cycle, verification & validation) • Experience with configuration and documentation management • Proven collaboration with project management teams • Experience in nuclear or high-hazard industries (desirable) • Knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems & functional safety standards (desirable)
