📋 Description

• Lead the single-use portfolio for biopharma production applications • Manage portfolio strategy, pricing, product lifecycle, and top- and bottom-line growth • Develop external partnerships for bags and single-use assemblies • Act as business owner for the single-use bag assembly product portfolio with P&L responsibility • Meet or exceed revenue and gross-margin targets and lead all aspects of the business • Provide competitor, market, product-positioning, revenue, unit, and capacity-forecasting data • Identify business priorities and pricing strategies with planning functions • Develop long-range product strategies and guide fiscal planning • Establish and lead collaborations with customers, suppliers, and industry opinion leaders • Partner with sales to define go-to-market efforts and implement commercial strategies • Improve market share and customer satisfaction for single-use products • Drive demand through sales and marketing campaigns • Participate in senior leadership meetings and strategic planning • Set objectives and strategies and take accountability for implementation and results • Drive cross-business-unit and divisional initiatives in a matrixed organization • Serve as single-use subject matter expert for sales and marketing functions • Represent Avantor at conferences and tradeshows • Communicate product strategy and tactics to the market

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred • 6+ years of product management, sales and/or marketing experience in the life sciences industry • Up to 25% domestic and global travel • Experience with single-use technologies for bioprocessing applications preferred • Technical or commercial experience with single-use products and applications preferred • Financial (P&L) experience • Business case development and articulation • Experience guiding objective decision-making processes • Analytical experience • Technical experience/competence with bioproduction • Project management and planning skills • Decision-making experience and adaptability to change • Business-level written and verbal communication skills • Experience working in a matrixed organizational structure
