📋 Description

• Design, lead, and oversee large-scale data architectures using Databricks and its core capabilities. • Serve as a Databricks Subject Matter Expert (SME), advising clients and teams on architecture, data engineering, governance, and scalable analytics. • Develop architecture strategies using Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, and Apache Iceberg. • Lead migration and modernization initiatives from legacy Data Warehouse environments to Databricks Lakehouse platforms. • Define technical standards, best practices, and strategies for data governance, security, quality, and performance. • Lead teams of architects and data engineers, fostering technical and strategic alignment with project objectives. • Support pre-sales and business development initiatives by contributing to technical proposals, estimates, Statements of Work (SOWs), and architectural solutions. • Provide technical leadership for data platform implementation, modernization, and transformation projects. • Manage risks, planning, budgets, deliverables, and alignment with executive stakeholders. • Act as a strategic consultant to clients, identifying opportunities for innovation and technological advancement. • Mentor professionals and share knowledge of emerging technologies, data architecture, and AI/ML solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture, with a track record of working on highly complex projects. • Advanced proficiency and hands-on experience with the Databricks platform. • Proven experience with Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables (DLT), Unity Catalog, Lakehouse Architecture, Apache Iceberg, and table format interoperability. • Experience designing Big Data Platforms and Cloud Data Warehouses. • Advanced knowledge of NoSQL databases. • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. • Knowledge of container management platforms. • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) tools and technologies. • Experience defining data and AI architectures aligned with business needs and strategies. • Consistent track record of leading data platform implementation, migration, and modernization projects. • Experience migrating traditional Data Warehouses to modern Databricks Lakehouse-based architectures. • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional certification is a plus. • Experience leading multiple complex Databricks implementation projects is a plus. • Experience in technical pre-sales, proposal development, and architectural solution design is a plus. • Experience as a Lead Architect, Delivery Solution Lead, or Sales Solution Lead is a plus. • Experience working on international projects and in technology consulting environments is a plus. • Ability to communicate effectively with executives, clients, and multidisciplinary technical teams is a plus. • Advanced English proficiency is an important advantage for working in a global environment.
