📋 Description

• Lead a strategic financial-services project as a Senior Front-end Engineer • Work across the entire software development lifecycle, from technical discovery and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a primary focus on React.js frontend experiences • Build and enhance Backend-for-Frontend services using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS • Create intuitive, engaging, and user-centric interfaces emphasizing usability and performance • Develop, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services • Write unit tests and ensure software quality through code reviews and best engineering practices • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance production applications while implementing new features and improvements • Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Build prototypes and proofs of concept during discovery and project scoping • Share knowledge, lessons learned, and technical discoveries across teams • Align technical initiatives with team objectives, OKRs, and broader business goals

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with React.js and modern frontend practices • Hands-on Node.js v18+ experience, preferably with Express.js and/or NestJS • Solid understanding of microservices and/or event-driven architectures • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs • Knowledge of NoSQL databases • Practical experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments • Familiarity with Serverless Framework or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools • Strong knowledge of GitLab, including branching strategies, feature development workflows, and hotfix processes • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog and Opsgenie • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills • Native or fluent Spanish • Intermediate English proficiency • Nice-to-have: Experience with AWS cloud services, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, EventBridge, and DynamoDB • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with TypeScript • Nice-to-have: Experience with Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle • Nice-to-have: Ability to mentor teammates and share technical knowledge across teams
