📋 Description

• Support end-to-end execution of capital and engineering projects from concept through commissioning and closure • Execute brownfield projects involving machine upgrades, capacity expansion, automation, utilities and process improvements • Support greenfield projects involving plant infrastructure, production areas, warehouses and material handling systems • Prepare project execution plans, schedules, action trackers and documentation • Coordinate activities with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, IT/OT, Procurement, Finance, contractors, OEMs and vendors • Monitor scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, delays and corrective actions • Support commissioning, production trials, performance validation and handover • Lead or support PLC, HMI, SCADA, drive, sensor and machine-control projects • Develop and review I/O lists, control philosophies, sequence logic and control architecture • Coordinate PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development and machine integration with OEMs and system integrators • Integrate new machines with existing production lines and plant control systems • Conduct FAT, SAT and commissioning activities • Prepare project proposals, feasibility studies, CAPEX estimates, RFP/RFQ documents and technical specifications • Evaluate vendor quotations and support vendor selection, negotiation and purchase order finalization • Develop and review machine, equipment and plant layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent tools • Review electrical schematics, panel designs, instrumentation and control drawings • Ensure EHS, machine safety, statutory, regulatory, quality and cybersecurity compliance • Coordinate IT/OT cybersecurity implementation and maintain automation backups and documentation • Manage vendors and contractors during installation, testing and commissioning • Coordinate procurement, delivery, material receipt, GRN, invoices, payments and project commercial documentation • Monitor CAPEX/AFE budgets, forecasts, commitments and project cost reports • Support equipment reliability, productivity, OEE and continuous improvement initiatives • Perform root-cause analysis of machine and automation failures • Complete project punch points, snag lists, post-project reviews, lessons learned, as-built documentation and handover to Maintenance • Support post-commissioning performance audits and archive documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation Engineering • 9-10 years of relevant experience in Projects, Automation, Controls or Engineering in a manufacturing environment • Experience in capital project execution and machine automation • Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, drives, sensors and industrial communication systems • Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs and drive systems • Knowledge of Profinet, Ethernet/IP and other industrial communication protocols • Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, modification and optimization • Experience with machine integration, commissioning, FAT and SAT • Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent layout tools • Knowledge of EHS, HIRA, FMEA, MOC, PSSR and risk assessments • Knowledge of OT cybersecurity, secure network architecture, access control, backups and software management • Experience with Oracle ERP/ERP procurement processes, PRs, POs, GRNs and vendor invoices • Ability to prepare CAPEX estimates, AFE/business cases, RFP/RFQ documents and technical specifications
