📋 Description

• Lead sourcing strategy execution across assigned sites and categories aligned with BD’s 3–5 year roadmap • Manage supplier selection and qualification • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and vendor agreements • Manage day-to-day procurement operations • Develop strategies to reduce costs and lead times while improving quality and service levels • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with BD’s strategic roadmap and category objectives • Lead procurement-driven initiatives across multiple sites • Create long-term plans supporting organizational goals • Identify and pursue cost-saving opportunities through supply chain optimization, Kaizen events, and design-to-value initiatives • Strengthen supplier partnerships to improve performance, supply chain efficiency, resilience, innovation, and cost optimization • Lead supplier qualification processes, mitigate risks, and optimize source-to-pay workflows • Ensure regional suppliers meet compliance standards and performance expectations • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing or healthcare • Strong understanding of category strategies • Proven negotiation skills and ability to build a pipeline of cost-saving opportunities • Analytical approach to assess market trends and supplier capabilities • Ability to think critically and creatively in complex situations • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Excellent communication skills in English • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with senior management and key stakeholders • Proactive, results-oriented approach with a track record of successful strategy execution
