• Develop and maintain revenue from owned Accounts and Prospect Accounts within Australia and New Zealand markets • Lead direct, proactive sales teams and implement strategic account management • Increase new active accounts through business development activities • Meet established revenue targets for Belmond properties or regional property groups • Monitor, analyse and evaluate strategy plans, results versus goals, and remedial measures • Develop quarterly sales action plans and annual account management plans • Maintain contact with property-based sales personnel and Directors of Sales • Collaborate with property management, sales, and revenue management teams and lead closing efforts • Qualify leads, secure new bookings, prepare quotes and detailed offers for group leads • Ensure timely, accurate, and personalized responses to customer enquiries • Coordinate with sales, marketing, corporate commercial teams, and divisional leadership • Organize sales events, trade shows, sales trips, roadshows, and client educational trips • Monitor team financial performance, account productivity, priorities, and initiatives • Train, coach, and guide direct reports and conduct individual and team reviews • Develop owned-account market share and maintain high client satisfaction • Establish relationships with key contacts, decision makers, bookers, and influencers • Conduct property and product training and host client events • Use selling, negotiating, closing, and BI tools including Tableau • Maintain account databases and log sales activities in OSC • Manage individual and team budgets and prepare sales reports • Support corporate marketing communications and protect guest, customer, employee, and company information
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in client manager, sales, or a similar role within the hospitality or luxury travel sector • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing key accounts • Good understanding of transient sales and commercial performance analysis • Strong experience in account planning, lead conversion, and client relationship management • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools • Experience with OSC, Tableau, or similar BI/reporting platforms would be advantageous • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, revenue, and reservations teams across multiple properties • Willingness to travel as required
