📋 Description

• Act as the key Legal contact for supported business lines and coordinate Binance’s legal needs and obligations for products and services • Facilitate product development throughout the full product life cycle and identify and mitigate Legal risks • Advise on product compliance with regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including licensing, approvals, product restrictions, AML/CFT, and related matters • Draft, amend, and negotiate product terms, commercial contracts, and risk-mitigation templates • Advise on product-related marketing, announcements, and social media campaigns • Advise on regulatory compliance and implementation involving financial instruments and digital assets regulations, including MIFID, MAR, EMIR, MiCA, and DORA • Advise on client complaints and disputes with litigation colleagues • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships across jurisdictions and time zones • Advise cross-functional teams to drive user acquisition and retention • Monitor industry and market trends and research product-centric regulatory issues • Identify legal issues during end-to-end product planning and execution • Support licensing initiatives and internal projects • Develop creative solutions for evolving business needs • Deliver training and create internal guidance for colleagues • Manage external counsel engagements in line with internal policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in a law firm, financial services firm, or fast-paced technology company • Strong team player with business acumen and excellent communication skills • Keen interest in crypto and digital asset markets • Ability to multitask and prioritize across stakeholders and business units • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and delivering trusted, commercially minded legal advice • Relevant legal experience advising on digital assets and/or financial products at a fintech company or financial institution preferred • Product counseling experience in privacy, data protection, intellectual property, or technology transactions/litigation advantageous • Hands-on and proactive attitude with ability to work independently on complex projects • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business teams and maintain relationships with regulatory and compliance stakeholders • Legal qualification/licence is required by the Product Counsel role context
