📋 Description

• Build and deploy platform and admin services supporting Bloomreach SaaS products • Develop features used by thousands of customers • Design, build, and deploy complete projects • Review teammates’ GitLab merge requests • Create technical design documents and refine proposals with teammates and product managers • Improve logging and alerting for high-uptime components • Write unit tests, create merge requests, deploy dev instances, perform smoke tests, and merge changes for production releases • Advise teams on authorization API integration • Break down project tasks in Jira and coordinate work with teammates • Operate high-reliability production deployments • Contribute to services including MCP APIs, customer provisioning and licensing, user management, authentication and authorization, configuration management, and customer integration tools

🎯 Requirements

• Active user of AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code • 5+ years developing backend services with Python using a variety of data systems • Understanding of web security principles, including OWASP, authentication, and authorization practices • Experience designing APIs for a SaaS product • Experience operating services in production on public cloud infrastructure • Some experience with Java/Spring or Go • Exposure to web frontend development with Angular or React • Ability to work across distributed cloud environments and varied technology stacks • Ability to organize technical work and maintain trust and respect across multiple teams, geographic regions, and departments • Ability to share expertise, guide less experienced team members, and document work
