📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end accounts payable cycle across all corporate, fund, and project entities, from invoice intake through payment and filing • Process vendor invoices, subcontractor billings, and employee expense reports in bill.com/Intuit Enterprise Suite, ensuring accurate entity, project, and job cost coding • Prepare weekly ACH, check, and wire payment runs • Reconcile bill.com activity to Intuit Enterprise Suite • Maintain vendor master data, W-9s, insurance certificates, and lien waivers • Maintain commitment ledgers for general contractor and subcontractor agreements • Track contract value, approved change orders, billings to date, retainage held, and remaining commitment by project • Review monthly AIA G702/G703 pay applications against schedules of values • Track change orders, calculate and record retainage withheld, and collect lien waivers • Reconcile commitment ledgers to job cost detail and the general ledger monthly • Provide committed-versus-incurred-versus-remaining-budget reporting to the Controller and development team • Prepare and post recurring journal entries • Perform monthly bank and balance-sheet reconciliations across multiple entities • Assist the Controller with monthly book close • Prepare and issue monthly development management fee invoices • Reconcile intercompany billings and balances across entities • Monitor daily cash positions and support other accounts receivable functions • Assist with payroll entries • Provide documentation for annual audits, tax return preparation, and lender or investor requests • Report to the Controller and support accounting operations for a growing real estate private equity firm

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • CPA/CA or working toward this qualification is a nice-to-have • 2–4 years of accounting experience, including hands-on accounts payable ownership • Working knowledge of US GAAP and full-cycle month-end close procedures • Experience with bill.com and Intuit Enterprise Suite strongly preferred; QuickBooks Online experience considered in lieu of Intuit Enterprise Suite • Construction or real estate development accounting experience strongly preferred, including exposure to long-term contracts, AIA pay applications, change orders, retainage, and lien waivers • Comfort tracking committed costs against contract values and budgets across multiple concurrent projects • Multi-entity accounting experience is a significant plus, particularly preparing intercompany billings and reconciling intercompany balances • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and large data sets • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Ability to manage high invoice volume across many entities • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills • Ability to work with vendors, project managers, and executive leadership • Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment
