📋 Description

• Build semantic layers in Looker that colleagues can navigate without guidance • Create clear and easy-to-use dashboards on Booksy data • Learn Booksy's KPIs and data well enough to work independently • Review smaller pieces of work from fellow analytics engineers • Help build Booksy's data foundations from scratch • Report to the Analytics Engineering Lead

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on Looker and LookML experience • Strong SQL, ideally in BigQuery • Sound grasp of joins and query cost • Experience turning raw data into clear, user-friendly dashboards • Ability to explain technical work to non-technical colleagues • Conversational level English language skills • Python, for example for scripting around Looker (helpful) • Familiarity with dbt (helpful) • Curiosity about AI tools and habit of checking their output (helpful)
