📋 Description

• Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of cloud-native customer experience solutions on Amazon Connect and AWS • Design, build, and optimize scalable CX solutions using Amazon Connect, WebRTC, SIP, and AWS technologies • Architect and implement server-side APIs, microservices, and automated workflows using TypeScript and modern languages • Drive front-end and web technology integrations for multi-channel customer engagement tools • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into enterprise-grade CX architectures • Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex networking and telephony issues • Establish engineering standards, code review practices, and continuous delivery pipelines in an agile environment • Implement AI-powered interactions, generative AI solutions, and advanced automation • Explore modern execution environments and systems languages such as Rust • Progress toward becoming Contacx's first New Zealand squad leader, overseeing NZ clients and contributing to ANZ leadership and company strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level experience in software development or cloud engineering • Demonstrated full-stack development skills • Experience with real-time communications or CCaaS deployments • Advanced expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, web technologies, and REST API development • Experience with Python or Golang • In-depth understanding of enterprise networking: TCP, IP routing, NAT, DNS • Knowledge of SIP and WebRTC • Deep hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Lex, and Amazon Bedrock • Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Relevant AWS certifications are highly regarded
