• Develop accurate and compliant investigator grants/site budgets for BeOne-sponsored clinical trials • Develop trial-level and country-level site budgets aligned with industry standards and local requirements • Leverage FMV benchmarking tools, BeOne Rate Cards, systems, databases, and established processes • Collaborate with Clinical Operations and relevant internal stakeholders to build compliant site budgets • Provide site budget deliverables for governance committees and Clinical Operations to support financial planning, forecasting, and FMV negotiations • Serve on the BeOne Estimate Support Team (BEST), providing estimates throughout the clinical trial protocol lifecycle • Perform budget variance analysis, scenario modeling, and benchmark assessments • Analyze protocol amendments and changes to trial assumptions and determine their impact on site budgets • Lead complex site budget development and analysis • Provide strategic insight for difficult protocols and therapeutic areas • Organize stakeholder meetings to resolve queries and obtain information and approvals • Track and communicate site budget development status to leadership and stakeholders • Coordinate site budget activities with study start-up timelines and communicate issues affecting project timelines • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, templates, guidance, checklists, trackers, tools, and knowledge sharing • Conduct peer quality control checks of site budgets • Mentor, train, and support junior associates • Develop, maintain, and train stakeholders on budget development documents and processes • Undertake other duties requested by departmental and company leadership
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university • 3+ years’ experience in finance, business, clinical research or related field in the biotech or pharmaceuticals industry • Fluent in English with excellent communication and writing skills • Strong interpersonal, analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities • Detail and process oriented • Capable of working independently or in a team environment • Solid understanding of FMV benchmarking tools and CPT codes • Proficiency in site budget development, analysis and modelling techniques • Prior experience in clinical operations, finance, site contract or site payment positions • Understanding of ICH GCP guidelines and clinical research processes • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook), Smartsheet, SharePoint, and MS Teams • Willingness to travel as needed
