📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure efficient iteration and delivery of high-quality results in the Embedded Payments and Onboarding squad • Prioritize simplicity while maintaining effectiveness in engineering projects • Engineer products in a future-proof manner, emphasizing sustainable product design • Facilitate Salesforce integration into engineering practices with Salesforce experts and engineers • Collaborate with ID&V and RegTech vendors to integrate regulatory technology solutions • Help ensure engineering practices remain compliant and up to date, strengthening Embedded Payments and Onboarding capabilities • Build and operate onboarding orchestration layers and APIs supporting KYC/KYB, identity checks, sanctions and PEP screening, customer risk assessment, and agreement signing

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience as a backend software engineer, with deep proficiency in Java, Kotlin or similar JVM-based languages • Experience designing, building, and operating microservices in a distributed systems environment • Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and event-driven architectures such as Kafka, SQS/SNS • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and modern software delivery practices (CI/CD) • Experience with observability and reliability tooling including logging, metrics, tracing, and performance optimisation • Comfortable working with Jira, Confluence, Git-based workflows, and collaborative engineering practices • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders • A thoughtful, practical approach to problem-solving that considers tradeoffs and avoids over-engineering
