📋 Description

• Shape digital transformation in defense and public safety • Lead complex transformation programs for the German Armed Forces, government agencies and the defense industry • Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs and IT leaders • Develop roadmaps and orchestrate programs for the digital future • Assess existing IT and organizational structures • Derive transformation strategies for defense environments • Take responsibility for the delivery of IT transformation projects • Coach client teams and facilitate workshops • Ensure adherence to standards, KPIs and regulatory requirements • Leverage Capgemini frameworks and industry standards to achieve sustainable transformation

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT management, transformation or consulting—ideally within defense programs • Defense background (industry, public sector or military/officer career) • Knowledge of IT strategy, architecture and governance, complemented by methodological expertise (ITIL, TOGAF, SAFe) • Experience in complex transformation programs (cloud, digitalization, outsourcing, SIAM) • Strong communication and leadership skills: ability to advise at C-level and manage diverse stakeholders • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken • Nice to have: certifications (ITIL Expert, SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2), experience in financial management and KPI governance • Willingness to undergo security clearance under the German SÜG and readiness to travel—primarily within the DACH region
