📋 Description

• Collaborates with stakeholders, teams, and departments to resolve complex actuarial issues. • Guides financial projections and interprets data and formulas for management insights. • Analyzes operational performance and presents optimization recommendations. • Represents the actuarial department with external stakeholders when needed. • Develops and implements solutions to complex actuarial issues. • Oversees project workflows, provides feedback, and ensures timely completion of work. • Guides projects and teams toward successful business outcomes. • Advocates for improvements to assumption formulas, procedures, and programs. • Oversees integration of new and updated products into the financial projection system. • Ensures actuarial modeling systems comply with IT, product, regulatory, control, and standards updates. • Monitors industry trends, actuarial practices, and regulatory changes. • Mentors and trains less experienced actuarial staff.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working in relevant roles • Advance experience working with actuarial projection software like MG-ALFA or equivalent (Axis or Profit) • Experience working with Python, R, SAS or similar • Strong understanding of actuarial modeling • Familiarity with U.S. Life/Annuity product designs and features. • Able to analyze complex data, interpret trends, and develop actuarial models and assumptions. • Deep understanding on Financial Modeling within Alpha database
