📋 Description

• Define and specify ASIC architectures, including functional and testability aspects • Model in RTL using VHDL and Verilog, with emphasis on ASIC module design • Verify RTL models in an ASIC environment using UVM • Implement and simulate Design for Test (DFT) and ATPG • Perform physical design of the circuit up to GDSII, including synthesis, place-and-route, DRC and LVS • Design and integrate RTL/IP modules and top-levels (Top) • Virtually verify modules and ASIC top-levels, RTL and timing • Implement, generate, simulate and debug ATPG patterns • Perform synthesis, static timing analysis (STA) and formal verification • Define placement and timing constraints • Carry out physical implementation and verification: floorplanning, partitioning, pad ring, place-and-route, DRC, LVS and EMIR • Provide support to teams and clients after Tape-Out

🎯 Requirements

• Ideally graduated from an engineering school or hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in (micro)electronics • All experience levels considered, from entry-level to expert • Position also open to experienced technicians specialized in ASIC design, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience • Experience with ASICs, MPUs, MCUs or FPGAs, including technologies such as ARM, RISC-V, CML, NoC, PCIe, CXL, DDR, HBM, USB or I3C • Proficiency in VHDL and/or SystemVerilog, Verilog or SystemC • Experience with IPs, Top, testbench, OVM and UVM • Skills in RTL/IP module design and top-level integration/creation • Skills in virtual verification of modules and ASIC tops, RTL and timing, using C, C++ and UVM • Skills in Design for Test: implementation, generation, simulation and debugging of ATPG patterns • Proficiency in synthesis, STA and formal verification • Skills in defining placement and timing constraints • Skills in implementation and physical verification: floorplanning, partitioning, pad ring, place-and-route, DRC, LVS, EMIR, package constraints, DEF, LEF and GDSII • Knowledge of ASIC EDA tools from Cadence, Siemens and Synopsys • Skills in test automation using Tcl and Python
