• Evaluate student work using university and department procedures, rubrics, and feedback templates • Ensure feedback is actionable, timely, and accurate • Respond to student questions and concerns about scoring • Coordinate with supervisors to resolve grading issues quickly • Participate in training sessions to receive guidance and feedback • Apply training and quality-check feedback to improve performance • Grade backend and fullstack web development assignments involving Node.js, relational databases, NoSQL databases, and React • Perform other duties assigned in support of the academic process
• Candidates must be fluent in English and submit their application in English • Must currently live in and be authorized to work in Brazil • Degree or coursework in a related field • Demonstrated subject matter expertise • Fluency in Portuguese and English (required) • High accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in following procedures and meeting deadlines • Ability to focus and maintain quality during repetitive or complex tasks • Adaptability to new processes, procedures, and technologies • Professional, respectful, and unbiased approach in sensitive situations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and discipline-specific software • Proven ability to grade effectively within the relevant subject areas • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred • Equivalent education and/or work experience may be considered • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON • Experience with Node.js and React • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub • Ability to quickly read and debug imperfect code • Attention to detail • Ability to follow test cases efficiently, exactly, and accurately • Ability to communicate clearly in writing • Selected candidates must provide an original transcript and a copy of their diploma showing completion or graduation date • Academic documents must be officially recognized in Brazil and their country of origin
