📋 Description

• Identify and validate market opportunities, niches, and product categories with growth potential in Brazil • Participate in launching new products or brands on marketplaces, especially Mercado Livre and Shopee • Develop strategies for product positioning, pricing, sales, and growth • Analyze competitors, demand, consumer behavior, and market trends to guide commercial decisions • Assess product financial feasibility, taking into account acquisition costs, marketplace fees, logistics, taxes, contribution margin, and profitability • Analyze the unit economics of each product, identifying opportunities to optimize costs and increase margins • Track performance indicators such as revenue, sales volume, conversion rate, average order value, margin, inventory turnover, and profitability • Collaborate with the teams and partners responsible for purchasing, importation, logistics, and distribution • Understand the product import process, from supplier analysis through the arrival of goods in Brazil • Evaluate landed cost, including freight, taxes, fees, logistics costs, and other applicable expenses • Track import timelines, regulatory requirements, and certifications needed to market the products • Support purchasing decisions and inventory planning based on projected demand, invested capital, and sales velocity • Prepare data-driven analyses and recommendations to guide decisions regarding products, pricing, investments, and expansion • Test commercial hypotheses, identify improvement opportunities, and implement actions to accelerate operational growth

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience launching a niche, product category, or brand from scratch on Mercado Livre and/or Shopee, with demonstrable results in numbers • Experience with market analysis, competitor research, opportunity identification, and product validation • Strong command of marketplace metrics, including revenue, margin, conversion rate, inventory turnover, and profitability • Knowledge of unit economics, pricing, cost structures, and financial feasibility analysis • Knowledge of import processes, including landed cost composition, timelines, documentation, and applicable certifications • Ability to make decisions based on data, KPIs, and financial analyses • Analytical, organized, proactive, and results-oriented, with the autonomy to turn analyses into practical actions • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving processes and a need to test, validate, and refine strategies • Experience with imported products, particularly from Chinese suppliers • Participation in structuring an e-commerce or marketplace operation from the ground up • Experience with international negotiations, suppliers, and purchasing planning • Knowledge of TikTok Shop, affiliate marketing, and other customer acquisition and sales channels • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other data analysis and visualization tools • English or Spanish proficiency for communication with international suppliers and partners • Previous experience coordinating teams or leading projects
