📋 Description
• Conduct routine machinery rounds and engine room inspections. • Lubricate machinery and equipment according to maintenance schedules. • Assist engineering officers with machinery maintenance and repair work. • Monitor the performance of engine room equipment and report any abnormalities. • Maintain engine room cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety standards.
🎯 Requirements
• 1–3 years of experience in engine room operations onboard a vessel. • Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills. • Good understanding of engine room safety practices. • Basic communication skills in English and Hindi. • Mandatory Documents: Passport, CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate), PST (Personal Survival Techniques), FPFF (Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting), EFA (Elementary First Aid), PSSR (Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities), STSDSD (Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties), Medical Certificate, INDOS SID (Seafarer Identity Document), Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, Relevant Watchkeeping Certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar Card, PAN Card
