📋 Description

• Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals aligned with product and platform vision • Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, design discussions, and hands-on collaboration • Partner with senior developers, architects, and tech leads on the product/platform architecture roadmap • Balance delivery speed, quality, maintainability, and long-term platform health • Break down large initiatives into parallelizable work delivering incremental business value • Champion proposals through the SDLC from design through production implementation • Improve the core product build, CI/CD pipelines, and overall SDLC • Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response • Maintain technical documentation and create new artifacts • Facilitate design discussions across teams • Represent the team in technical discussions with technical, operations, product/UX, security, domain, and external stakeholders • Act as a trusted technical leader through collaboration, influence, and shared ownership • Mentor developers through design reviews, joint agentic-AI sessions, and feedback • Share knowledge of technologies and industry best practices • Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and cloud capabilities • Use AI-assisted development tools in daily workflow • Review AI-generated output for correctness, security, and architectural alignment • Identify and lead agentic automation opportunities and AI-assisted workflows • Mentor developers on responsible AI tool usage and establish team-level guardrails • Define and evolve the internal developer platform, including monorepo structure, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines • Improve developer experience and reduce SDLC friction • Mentor engineers on monorepo management and CI/CD best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated impact beyond a single team • Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Nx monorepo architecture at scale • Experience designing and operating CI/CD systems, including GitHub Actions or equivalent, for multiple teams • Experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native, SaaS/multi-tenant platforms at scale, ideally on AWS • Strong software fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and code quality advocacy • Experience with agentic-AI software development practices • Experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs such as REST or GraphQL • Experience mentoring developers and influencing architectural decisions across teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong initiative to improve processes, tools, methodologies, and product quality • Experience with AWS • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Storybook or equivalent component library tooling, WCAG 2.1, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Nx Monorepo
