📋 Description

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events • Investigate suspicious behavior and potential incidents to identify their root cause • Analyze logs from Windows and Linux environments, networks, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and databases • Perform network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark and TCPDump • Support incident response by following established playbooks and procedures • Record and document investigations and ensure a clear, structured shift handover • Use the MITRE ATT&CK framework to support threat identification and investigation • Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Completed or ongoing higher education in Information Security, Cyber Defense, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field • Knowledge of log and security event analysis in Windows and Linux environments • Knowledge of networks, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and traffic analysis • Basic knowledge of databases and audit log analysis • Availability to work a 12-on/36-off shift schedule, including night shifts • Previous experience in a SOC, security monitoring, or incident response • Knowledge of or experience with Sophos solutions and cloud environments • Certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, Cisco CyberOps Associate, Blue Team Level 1, OCI, AZ-900, or SC-900
