📋 Description

• Lead and supervise Staff Accountants and pack members • Own the quality and timeliness of assigned client financials • Assign, prioritize, monitor, and rebalance work across the pack • Coach, mentor, and provide constructive performance feedback to team members • Make accounting and operational judgment calls and take responsibility for team outcomes • Identify, research, resolve, and implement solutions to accounting, operational, and client-related problems • Organize recurring daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual responsibilities across multiple client workflows • Oversee bookkeeping and accounting for U.S.-based restaurant and multi-unit clients • Record and categorize transactions; perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations • Manage and review accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows • Prepare, review, and analyze Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, supporting schedules, and reconciliations • Lead month-end close processes and support quarterly hard closes, Quality Control reviews, and audits • Maintain accurate, complete, audit-ready client records and documentation in QuickBooks Online and Restaurant365 • Apply practical accounting judgment and adapt processes to client needs and changing circumstances • Develop into an increasingly client-facing accounting leader • Communicate financial information clearly with restaurant owners, operators, and financial stakeholders • Partner with Relationship Managers on client-ready financial statements and insights • Collaborate with U.S.-based accountants, Relationship Managers, Quality Control Leads, and internal support teams • Document workflows, update SOPs, identify inefficiencies, and implement approved process improvements • Use accounting technology, AI, and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy while validating automated outputs • Support client transitions from QuickBooks Online to Restaurant365 when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • Minimum 7–10+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience managing accounting or bookkeeping staff • Experience directing others, managing deadlines, reviewing accounting work, delivering corrective feedback, and taking responsibility for team outcomes • Strong understanding of financial statements, accrual accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, and U.S. accounting principles and best practices • Advanced, hands-on QuickBooks Online expertise • Strong Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills • Excellent written and spoken English • High attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational and workflow-management skills • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously • Strong professional judgment and independent problem-solving ability • Proven ownership and follow-through • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision • Ability to work 40 hours per week with strong overlap with U.S. business hours • Restaurant365 experience preferred but not required • Experience supporting U.S.-based clients, restaurants, franchises, hospitality businesses, multi-location organizations, client accounting services, outsourced accounting, or professional services preferred • Experience leading client calls, presenting financial information, documenting SOPs, improving processes, or using AI/automation in professional workflows preferred
