📋 Description

• Work in highly critical production environments, supporting internal and external technology clients across ongoing operations and new projects • Provide support and manage SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases • Take ownership of and govern the environments, ensuring their health and performance • Plan and carry out activities in a hands-on and proactive manner • Maintain effective communication and positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues in the department and other teams

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB) • Experience administering critical and high-availability databases • Experience analyzing and tuning queries • Experience with Always On • Experience with Zabbix and Grafana monitoring tools • Experience with Agile methodologies • Experience with ITSM tools • Experience submitting change requests in production environments and managing the approval process • Experience opening support tickets with vendors, following up, and escalating when necessary • Experience monitoring databases to identify items suitable for monitoring purposes related to availability and performance • Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases • Certifications in Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server • Experience with cloud environments (AWS) • Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard and SQL Server Always On • Knowledge of backup and restore using RMAN • Knowledge of OEM
