📋 Description

• Own significant parts of the test infrastructure • Drive quality strategy across the engineering team • Design testing approaches for complex features • Mentor junior engineers and make architectural decisions for automation at scale • Architect and implement test frameworks and infrastructure • Design testing strategies for new features and platform capabilities • Integrate testing earlier in the development lifecycle through cross-team collaboration • Refactor and optimize existing test suites for maintainability and performance • Improve CI/CD pipeline performance and test execution times • Build and manage AWS-based test environments • Develop custom tooling and reporting to surface quality insights • Mentor SDET I engineers • Conduct technical code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Playwright • Extensive Playwright experience, including deep knowledge of fixtures architecture • Object-oriented test framework design with layered patterns (PCOM/POM) and scalable abstractions over linear scripts • API testing/orchestration using REST or GraphQL integrated with UI workflows • Advanced TypeScript, including generics, decorators, advanced typing patterns, and type inference • Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and race-condition prevention • Strong software design principles, including domain-driven design and Factory, Builder, Facade, and Composite patterns • Hands-on AWS experience, including EC2 configuration, CloudWatch log analysis, and debugging cloud environments • Docker experience, including containerization, docker-compose, and image management • CI/CD debugging and optimization • Expert-level Git, GitHub, and distributed version control workflows • Advanced reporting using Allure, Playwright HTML reports, or custom solutions • Experience with test infrastructure and framework architecture • Performance optimization at scale • npm ecosystem and package management • Must be located in India
