📋 Description

• Define graph node labels and edge types representing designers, garments, style attributes, trends, occasions, and editorial articles • Build batch ingestion workflows for structured JSON payloads into Amazon Neptune • Implement probabilistic entity matching using attribute overlap, confidence scoring, and deduplication across articles • Weight editorial relationships based on prominence to influence AI-agent recommendations • Design and optimize openCypher traversal queries, including multi-hop queries, for sub-three-second downstream retrieval • Collaborate with Machine Learning and GenAI Agent Developers on graph structure and recommendation needs • Support technical interviews and validation of new graph database team members

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above), with autonomy to communicate directly with international stakeholders • Solid experience with Amazon Neptune and the property graph data model • Experience writing and optimizing openCypher queries, including multi-hop traversals under latency constraints • Experience designing graph schemas and evaluating modeling trade-offs • Experience building entity resolution logic, including fuzzy matching, scoring algorithms, and deduplication across data sources • Strong Python skills for data engineering and batch processing of structured data payloads • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, staff augmentation setting with an established client team • Prior experience in fashion, retail, or e-commerce catalogs (nice to have) • AWS certification in databases or data analytics (nice to have) • Experience integrating graph databases with generative AI agents such as Amazon Bedrock Agents (nice to have) • Familiarity with recommendation systems or ranking/weighting logic for content surfacing (nice to have)
