📋 Description

• Manage metadata requests and maintain data documentation and catalog information • Act as a business and governance analyst for data-related initiatives • Partner with data owners and business stakeholders to define and document data ownership and accountability • Ensure adherence to data governance policies, standards, and best practices • Identify data issues and coordinate resolution through appropriate governance processes • Profile datasets and create basic data quality checks and controls • Support data-related requests and promote data usability and trust across the organization • Collaborate with technical and business teams to improve data governance processes and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, or Data Management roles • Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks and practices • Strong understanding of metadata management • Strong understanding of Data Quality principles and controls • Strong understanding of data ownership and data lifecycle management • Strong understanding of data contracts and governance policies • Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts, including data ingestion processes and ETL/ELT • Experience or familiarity with Databricks environments • Understanding of programming logic and basic knowledge of Python • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Advanced English • Strong sense of ownership and accountability • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to navigate complex enterprise environments and work across multiple teams • Collaborative mindset with strong adaptability and resilience • Ability to translate business requirements into governance processes and standards • Experience with data catalog and metadata management tools (nice to have) • Experience implementing or supporting Data Quality initiatives (nice to have) • Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and governance solutions (nice to have) • Experience working in global and cross-functional environments (nice to have)
