📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend integrations with payment processors, ERP platforms, and financial infrastructure providers across Latin America • Architect scalable, secure, and observable services handling sensitive financial data • Build and own frontend interfaces, including internal tooling, integration dashboards, and configuration UIs • Use AI tools to automate repetitive engineering workflows, accelerate delivery, and close skill gaps • Set the technical bar through code reviews, architectural input, and hands-on mentorship of junior and mid-level engineers • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data to translate complex integration requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions • Identify and tackle technical debt that creates operational risk or slows the team down

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software development experience, with at least 1–2 years working across the full stack • Strong software architecture and system design skills • Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages; primary stack is Java / Spring Boot • Good frontend knowledge in one or more frontend languages/frameworks; stack is React • Demonstrated use of AI tools throughout the development process, including design, coding, code review, debugging, and documentation • Experience using tools like Claude, Devin, or n8n to automate repetitive or complex engineering workflows • Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Operations • Working proficiency in English
