📋 Description

• Lead customer engagements by designing and presenting scalable, cloud-native lakehouse architectures and business outcomes • Provide domain expertise throughout the sales cycle, supporting PoCs, solution sizing, and customer adoption • Focus on self-serve BI, open table formats such as Iceberg, and AI-ready data analytics • Troubleshoot complex issues involving query performance, concurrent workload management, and data federation • Provide guidance and lead technical escalations • Drive internal and external technical enablement through analytical engine exploration, educational materials, and best-practice sharing • Influence the product roadmap by translating customer feedback and regional requirements into actionable insights • Act as a Cloudera evangelist through community activities, event speaking, and knowledge sharing • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering on customer success and product vision

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading and implementing mission-critical data warehousing and BI use cases in industries such as Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, and Public Sector • Proven experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-grade data lakehouses and big data analytics platforms on cloud-native architectures • Hands-on expertise with Apache Iceberg, Trino, Apache Hive, and Apache Impala • Strong background architecting production data deployments across hybrid and multi-cloud environments • Expertise in massive-scale BI, ad-hoc analytics, and building an AI-ready data foundation • Demonstrated ability to run PoCs and MVPs leading to enterprise-grade production deployments • Experience ensuring high-concurrency query performance and cost optimization • Experience designing data-intensive architectures, including data modeling, security, data quality, and governance • Exceptional presentation skills and comfort engaging SQL developers, data analysts, and senior executives • Ability to analyze data warehouse workloads and define technical migration or modernization roadmaps • Bonus: pre-sales or technical consulting experience focused on big data, data warehousing, and AI platform solutions • Bonus: experience with Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, or Teradata and migration strategies • Bonus: experience with dbt, Star Schema, Data Vault, and distributed object storage query optimization • Bonus: interest in open-source software and development practices • Bonus: familiarity with CDW, CML, and SDX • Bonus: relevant technical certifications • Bonus: working knowledge of Apache Spark, Airflow, and the broader open-source data and AI ecosystem • Bonus: understanding of lakehouse data foundations for machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
