📋 Description

• Architect, deploy, and provide senior-level operational support for on-premise and cloud-based Linux infrastructure and core IT services • Ensure high availability and reliability of virtualization, baremetal, storage, DNS, and related services • Develop, maintain, and champion Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks using Terraform, Ansible, and Foreman/MaaS • Implement and automate system-level security practices, including patching, hardening, and configuration management • Build and automate deployment pipelines for IT infrastructure services using GitHub/Git, Ansible, and scripting tools • Serve as a technical SME for IT Systems, CloudOps, Security, and Engineering teams • Participate in a shared on-call rotation for mission-critical IT services • Create and maintain documentation for automation, operational audits, and compliance • Design, implement, and administer enterprise storage platforms, including Dell PowerStore and Pure Storage arrays • Ensure storage capacity, performance, data protection, and high availability • Mentor junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 8+ years of equivalent experience in a large-scale enterprise environment • Deep, expert-level Linux systems administration experience with Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu, and common CLI tools and services • Strong hands-on Python and shell scripting skills • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, including Terraform and Ansible • Experience with version control, including GitHub/Git • Experience managing hybrid infrastructure, including on-premise virtualization/OpenStack and networking • Understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, and containerized platforms such as Kubernetes • Experience administering enterprise storage arrays, ideally Dell PowerStore and Pure Storage FlashArray • Experience designing, building, and operating secure, automated infrastructure • Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, and public cloud equivalents • Certifications such as RHCE, Terraform, or AWS/Azure/GCP certifications • Knowledge of enterprise security principles, cryptography, PKI, and operational security practices • Experience in regulated, high-governance, or compliance environments such as FedRAMP, PCI, ISO27001, or SOC2 • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Project management experience • Previous experience mentoring junior team members • This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
