📋 Description

• Assist local account teams with deep technical knowledge of running ETL, analytical, streaming, and Machine Learning/AI workloads on public cloud infrastructure • Work with customer Cloud/InfoSec teams to explain prerequisites for deploying Cloudera on public cloud • Onboard proof-of-concept and pilot customers to Cloudera on Cloud • Advise customers on optimal approaches for running Big Data workloads in the public cloud, considering performance and cost effectiveness • Lead enablement workshops and evangelize Big Data use cases on public cloud at small and large-scale events • Engage with security and compliance teams to ensure solutions fit customers’ cloud compliance rules • Communicate customer feature requests to product management to help guide product direction • Identify use cases, develop best practices, and guide customers through their Data/AI journey in the cloud • Work closely with pre-sales teams, strategic customers, engineering, field teams, clients, and partners to drive adoption and platform development

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role, especially working on 3 public clouds • Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) technical certifications (Architect, security, developer) are a huge plus • Experience implementing Data/AI solutions on Public Cloud using technologies such as EMR, HDI, Dataproc, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SOLR, and Elastic on AWS, Azure, and GCP • Comfortable programming in at least one of Python, Bash, or SQL, and working with REST APIs • Ability to work independently within a small, agile, globally distributed team • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the region, as domestic and international conditions permit • Complementary skills such as technical marketing, public speaking, multilingual abilities, production-grade code development, enterprise architecture, or PaaS/SaaS delivery are beneficial • Technical experience at a multinational enterprise or government level, including engagement with executive-level audiences, may be beneficial
