📋 Description

• Deliver security assessments across networks, applications, APIs, mobile platforms and cloud infrastructure • Combine automated tools with manual testing techniques to simulate real-world attack scenarios • Identify, validate and assess the impact of security vulnerabilities • Produce high-quality, accurate and actionable penetration testing reports • Explain findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Provide practical remediation recommendations to clients • Work closely with the wider cybersecurity team • Manage testing, documentation, deadlines and deliverables for client engagements • Build positive client relationships and contribute to a professional client experience • Keep technical knowledge current through learning about emerging vulnerabilities, tools and attack techniques • Share knowledge and contribute to improving penetration testing methodologies and ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience conducting penetration tests or security assessments • Experience using vulnerability scanning tools alongside manual testing and exploitation techniques • Solid understanding of offensive security methodologies, tools and techniques • Practical experience assessing technical security controls, identifying weaknesses and validating vulnerabilities • Experience in one or more of: network penetration testing, web application testing, API testing, mobile application testing, cloud security testing • Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills • Ability to document technical findings accurately and produce clear, actionable reports • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain technical risks to non-technical audiences • Professional approach to client engagement and customer service • Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and deliver work to agreed deadlines • Proactive approach to learning and keeping up to date with developments in offensive security • Experience in a cybersecurity consultancy or professional services environment is desirable • Exposure to a broad range of technologies, infrastructure and client environments is desirable • Experience presenting findings and remediation recommendations directly to clients is desirable • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud is desirable • Experience testing APIs and mobile applications is desirable • Industry-recognised penetration testing certifications are highly regarded, including OSCP, CPSA, CRT and CREST-related certifications
