⢠Overall ship's command and responsibility to ensure safety of crew, passengers and environmental protection ⢠Responsible for the occupational health, safety and welfare of the crew, and the safety of passengers ⢠Responsible for the compliance with the International regulations and company safe practices and policies ⢠Ensure that all Officers and Crew are familiar with the Company's Management System ⢠Ensure that a robust Safety & Health culture and Environmental and Energy Efficiency awareness is encouraged and maintained ⢠Ensure that safety and efficiency are maintained onboard
đŻ Requirements
⢠Valid COC (STCW Reg II/2) with verification ⢠Valid STCW certifications required for the position ⢠Excellent knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other maritime regulations ⢠Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and crisis management skills ⢠Advanced English level; additional languages are an asset and recommended ⢠Safety culture and mindset ⢠Experience with multicultural working environment ⢠Substantial experience as Captain or Staff Captain on large cruise ships, with Azipod propulsion systems ⢠Experience in worldwide itinerary
