📋 Description

• Work directly with the founders on product and technical direction • Build and maintain the Python/Django backend powering the consumer dashboard and B2B platform • Own features from start to finish, including production reliability after launch • Develop APIs for the consumer dashboard and customer reporting • Improve performance and reliability in Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines • Integrate third-party services including payment providers and identity providers such as Stripe and WorkOS SSO • Perform code reviews on a small backend team • Pick up real production work in the first week

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years building production web applications • 3+ years with Python and Django • Production experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis • Working knowledge of data structures, concurrency, SQL, and system design • Strong written communication • Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones • Self-direction and follow-through • DRF and/or django-ninja experience is a strong plus • Postgres tuning and query analysis experience is a strong plus • Kubernetes and AWS experience is a strong plus • Stripe, WorkOS SSO, or other third-party API integration experience is a strong plus • HTMX and/or React experience is a strong plus • Background in consumer privacy or adjacent industries is a strong plus • Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code is a strong plus
