• Develop budgets and budget justifications/narratives for U.S. Government grant acquisition efforts and other institutional donors • Support financial management across the grant lifecycle, from proposal development through grant closeout • Prepare donor-compliant financial reports and conduct budget variance analysis • Monitor expenditures, forecasts, and financial performance • Support donor and procurement audits, including Single Audits • Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with donor regulations • Partner with finance, program, legal, compliance, and field teams across multiple countries
• Must reside in one of the following Compassion program countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, or Peru • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in grants finance, donor compliance, or financial management • Experience with donor-funded grants, preferably within an NGO or international development environment • Demonstrated experience developing budgets and budget narratives for U.S. Government grants • Strong working knowledge of 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) • Experience working with UN and other institutional donors • Experience supporting or managing Single Audits for U.S. Government-funded programs • Excellent budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analytical skills • Fluent English and Spanish required
• Remote work within eligible countries • Occasional travel (up to 10%) • 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract with possible renewal
